COM1110 Overview of theory and methodological practice in communication with particular attention to scholarly writing skills. Emphasis on development of critical thinking skills through active participation in the research process.

Topics include how federal policies impacted and were shaped by Indigenous peoples and how Indigenous individuals, communities, and nations have maintained cultural identity and sovereignty.
