Basic grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary of the Spanish language. Includes the study of the Spanish-speaking cultures. Practice of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Prerequisites: None.
This course uses Connect, an online Learning Management System (LMS). Each student is required to purchase an access card for Connect in the first week of the course. This card contains a code that enables each individual to access the online LMS, an etext version of Puntos de Partida, and required web-based learning activities.
It is STRONGLY recommended that students taking any SPA101 through SPA202 foreign language courses do so in sequence without interruption.
