Create. Make. Have fun expressing yourself through this relaxing and rewarding lifelong activity. Have you always wanted to learn to paint with watercolor? Learn new techniques?Learn the basics of how to stretch watercolor paper, different wash techniques, dry brush techniques, wet-in-wet painting, using resists, explore brush techniques, achieve special effects, plan your focal point, learn beginning perspective, composition basics, and much much more. Paint your own subject, or follow along with the instructor's demonstrations. Students are encouraged to bring inspirational images to paint or items for still life painting.

Ages 16 and over. This class is taught remotely. A supply list will be sent.
Due to COVID-19, this in person class section has been transitioned to a Live Online section. This class will meet remotely during the scheduled class times using web conferencing software (e.g., Webex, Zoom, or Google Hangouts) for all class dates. Attendance and active participation in these remote class sessions is expected, and all course work must be completed according to the deadlines given in the course syllabus. Students will need to have access to a computer or mobile device, internet, and web camera.
