Strength training and muscular fitness activity to help develop a lifetime of regular exercise and muscular strength maintenance. Development of full-body strength and stability of the body's core musculature, translating to increased power, balance, and functional movement ability including assessment of current strength and goal-specific program design to increase strength and muscular fitness. Prerequisites: None.

PED117 may be repeated for a maximum of eight (8) credit hours.

Due to COVID-19, this in person class section has been transitioned to a Traditional Online section. Coursework must be completed according to deadlines. Students will need to have access to a computer or mobile device, as well as the internet.
The "Student Option" grading indicates that a student must select either an A-F (Standard Letter Grade) option or P/Z (Pass/No Credit) grade option for the class.
Independent workouts are required weekly.
