An introduction to the mathematics required for the study of business. Includes multivariable optimization, Lagrange multipliers, linear programming, linear algebra, probability, random variables, discrete and continuous distributions.

Students may receive credit for only one of the following: MAT217 or MAT218. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in MAT212, or MAT213, or MAT220, or MAT221. Course Equivalencies: MAT217 & MAT218

Attendance and active participation in these remote class sessions is expected, and all course work must be completed according to the deadlines given in the course syllabus.
