Provides and overview about the type of client who may need AT/AAC as well as the professional team involved in that decision. Reviews use of computer hardware and software that has been adapted for disabled individuals as well as low-tech and high-tech assistive technology and augmentative/alternative communication systems.

Prerequisites: Admission into the Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Program.
